John Grubb

John spent 15 years at Microsoft from 1997 through 2012 and held positions within Sales and Services. Most recently, John was an Account Technology Strategist working with large enterprise customers as a key member of their Microsoft account team. John’s combination of technical and licensing skills were unique within Microsoft, and provided him the opportunity to act as a virtual team member of the U.S. Software Asset Management team. John’s prior roles include Consultant, Application Development Consultant and Technical Account Manager. In these roles he consulted with and supported Microsoft enterprise customers, including some Fortune 50 companies. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Major Finance) from Appalachian State University. He also holds multiple Microsoft certifications and is a IAITAM Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM). John is actively involved in his community as a high school student mentor, and serves on the technology board of his local school district.
